For this exercise we used existing materials from various sources, that we also recommend to you for learning more about OpenLayers:

• The official OpenLayers website. Specifically the Examples section is a very rich source for finding out the many possibilities. The Docs section has useful tutorials and workshops, whereas the API section provides the official API description.

If you succesfully finished this exercise, you can follow it up with other exercises, depending on the course you are in and which other exercise you have done:

• Add OpenLayers to your Web site (Web Programming exercises): If earlier you started the Web Application building exercise, you can now continue this exercise at Section 5 - Web Map...
• Including OGC Web Map Service layers you created earlier: OpenLayers for WMS. This of course is only possible if you succesfully finished that specific exercise (Creating an OGC WMS).
